100% is a Korean idol group under the management of TOP Media Entertainment. The group was formed by a member of the original Korean idols, Andy Lee of Shinhwa. 100% was originally made up of seven members that were famous for their appearance: Rochyun, Jonghwan, Chanyong, Hyukjin, Minwoo, Sanghoon, and Changbum. Sanghoon and Changbum departed from the group while 100%’s former leader Minwoo passed away in 2018 due to his heart problem. Currently, 100% performs with four members. 100% debuted with the single “We” released in September 2012. In their debut showcase, they performed with their mentor/CEO Andy Lee, and their label’s senior Teen Top. 100% appeared in various music variety shows throughout 2012–2013. Andy Lee of Shinhwa formed the duo Jumper that consisted of Rockhyun and Park Dong-min in 2009. Jumper released two singles: “Yes!” and “Dazzling.” Minwoo debuted as an actor before joining 100%. He performed in dramas such as Sharp 3 and The King And I. He participated in Andy Lee’s song “Single Man” alongside Park Dong-min
100% Debut
100% debuted on September 18th, 2012, by releasing their debut album We, 100%. Several days later, 100% made their live debut performance on KBS’ Music Bank and released the music video of “Bad Boy.” 100% was the second group that was formed by Andy of Shinhwa. 100% also comprised a subgroup, 100% V that consisted of Rockhyun, Jonghwan, Hyukjin, and Chanyong In 2017, 100% made their Japanese debut with the release of the single “How To Cry.” Soon, all remaining members participated in the idol rebooting program The Unit.
