Runaway Debut As A Model
LAs we mentioned, it was WINNER’s Mino’s first debut as a runway model! Along with his work in entertainment, Mino is the member of WINNER who is most known for his taste in fashion. We can see some of his fashionable style in the way he dressed up for events, in his casual daily looks, and even while he is on the stage and performing! This time, WINNER’s Mino wasn’t just invited as a guest, he was also one of the models who walked there! Virgil Abloh, who is Louis Vuitton’s new artistic director since 2018, along with the casting director, built the framework for the Louis Vuitton Spring 2020 collection. They also united various celebrities all around the world, such as English singer Dev Hynes, Italian model Malick Bodian, and obviously, South Korean rapper and producer, Song Min-ho! Actually, it wasn’t his first time modeling. He once appeared during Seoul Fashion Week in 2014 and walked the runway there, but with this was his first time working for a luxury brand such as Louis Vuitton! Mino also becoming the first K-Pop idol who successfully made their debut on the Louis Vuitton runway! The Louis Vuitton Spring 2020 Menswear Show was held in Paris, France, in June, 2019. During the show, Mino caught a lot of attention from the people there! Even fashion observers loved his style at that time. He was effortlessly gorgeous in a grey, printed outer, a simple white shirt, and baby blue pants. His light blonde hair completed his look! Simple, minimalist, yet classy at the same time! Moreover, the piercings on his ears and on his lips also became one of the highlights from his style appearance, as well! Along with the photoshoot, Mino also did an interview with the publication. He talked about a lot of things, started from WINNER’s new album, CROSS. Mino revealed that the album was different than their previous albums, and that it has a clear concept and a serious message within.
