San made his debut with ATEEZ on October 24th, 2018, under KQ Entertainment. San has a natural ability and skills in dancing, said Lia Kim, the famous choreographer from 1Million dance studio after seeing his pre-debut performance, “He can do more than the extent of the man’s body. At this degree, his strength and flexibility are very likable. San debuted with ATEEZ on October 24th, 2018, under KQ Entertainment. San’s position in ATEEZ is as the main dancer and lead vocalist. ATEEZ consists of eight talented members namely Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho. Initially, the boy group consisted of nine members, but a member named Junyoung left before their official debut. ATEEZ made their debut by releasing their first mini-album titled Treasure EP.1: All to Zero with the songs “Pirate King” and “Treasure” serving as title tracks. “Treasure” is a pop dance song that is combined with the rhythm of hip-hop music and focuses on the rap actions of the members. While “Pirate King” is a hip-hop song with trap music and powerful member rap action. In the debut teaser, San appeared in the ATEEZ (에이 티즈) TREASURE EP.1: All To Zero Teaser. In the 25-second teaser, San appeared with completely bright brown hair and a touch of green with a cold and charismatic visual towards the camera while carrying a flag bearing the name of his group, ATEEZ. His gaze when facing the camera makes all the fans who see the teaser melt and can not blink because of the charm displayed by San.
