B1A4’s Facts
CNU is the tallest among the members of the band. His height is 182 cm (6’0″). His name, CNU, means a dependable and sweet-natured friend. CNU, Sandeul, and Jinyoung have an older sister. Sandeul is the member who has a lot of friends idols from other groups. He is close to VIXX’s Ken, Day6‘s Sungjin (they went to school together back in Busan), and BTS’ Jin (they went to an amusement park together). According to B1A4’s One Fine Day, Gongchan and Jinyoung used to have Acrophobia but they’ve already overcome it. Gongchan was featured on Mamamoo’s “Piano Man” MV. (He’s the “piano man”) Jinyoung has acted in various dramas, such as The Thousandth Man (2012), She is Wow (2013), Persevere, Goo Hae-Ra (2015), Warm and Cozy (2015), Love in the Moonlight (2016), If We Were a Season (2017), My First First Love (2019). He received the Best New Actor award for his role in the drama Love in the Moonlight at the 2016 KBS Drama Awards. Baro has also acted in various dramas, such as Reply 1994 (2013), God’s Gift – 14 Days (2014), Persevere, Goo Hae-Ra (2015 – cameo), Angry Mom (2015), The Master of Revenge (2016), Manhole (2017).
B1A4 Debut and Golden Era
B1A4 debuted on April 23rd, 2011, with the single “O.K” from the EP Let’s Fly at MBC’s Music Core. The members of B1A4 were introduced through a Webtoon (a type of digital comic that originated in South Korea). During the debut days, they promoted through various music shows such as M! Countdown, Music Bank, and Music Core. They won the Hot Debut Star award at SBS MTV Best of the Best. They also won some awards during their rookie days, such as the Best Newcomer Award, Super Rookies for 2012, Best Male Newcomer, New Asian Artist, New Artist of The Year, and many more.
