Facts About Jin:
He was born in Anyang, Gyeonggi-do, but when he was almost one year old, his family moved to Gwacheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. His family consists of father, mother, and older brother (Kim Seok Joong, two years older) Jin graduated from Konkuk University with a Bachelor’s degree in film and took his Master’s degree at Hanyang Cyber University. Jin chose V as the member that he’s closest to. Jin really likes to eat. He’s the chef of the group. Before their debut he said he can eat once in two hours. One day he attended dinner with his family and he ate so much that he couldn’t stand up to walk. He was born in Buk-gu, Daegu, South Korea. Suga’s family consists of dad, mom, and older brother (Min Geumjae). Suga graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts at the Global Cyber University and is currently enrolled in Hanyang Cyber University’s graduate school for an MBA in Advertising & Media. Suga got his stage name from the CEO because he is pale and his smile is sweet like sugar. His nicknames are Motionless Min because when he has free days, he doesn’t do anything and Mr. Appendix because he had appendicitis surgery in 2013 (December). The members often call him “grandpa” because he sleeps all the time and can be cranky. He usually scolds and nags the younger members when they make a mistake. Suga chose to become a rapper after listening to “‘Fly” by Epik High.

He was an underground rapper and was in a group called D-Town. When he was an underground rapper he was known as Gloss because that’s the English translation of Yoongi. His role models are Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Lil Wayne, and Hit Boy. Suga has been making/producing music since he was 13. He writes lyrics/composes songs daily.
