In this article, Channel-Korea will explain more about BTS’ V and Suga’s close friendship. So, stay tuned!
The Taegi Couple
In the beginning, it was true that V and Suga’s relationship was not as close as their relationship now. They have different personalities, as Suga is an introvert, calm, and needs space for his own. Meanwhile, BTS’ V is an extrovert, bubbly, and talkative. V used to say that he found it hard to become friends with Suga because of their opposite personalities. On the other side, Suga said that he didn’t understand V, and thought that he was too wild and weird. Suga even thought that V faked his quirky personality, and didn’t make an effort to become close with V because of that. However, Bon Voyage Season 2 in Hawaii changed their relationship by 180 degrees. V and Suga’s relationship became much better, and now their chemistry is great. During their time together in Hawaii, Suga got to see how compassionate and kind a person V really is, and he got to see past V’s bubbly and weird personality. Suga appreciated V, and on the other hand, V looked up to Suga. They have gotten very close and are much more open to each other now, and get along just fine. Girls, the ship is sailing! Taehyung’s Message to Yoongi
During Run BTS! Season 2, episode 56, BTS is still on its short trip. The episode was the fourth installment of the short trip. After dinner, the BTS members were divided into three teams and held a singing contest. Everyone except the winning team had to clean up. The members also had to finish writing their poem. They gathered around the campfire and recited their poems and told each other how they felt. V recited his poem entitled “It’s Not a Big Deal”. He wrote the poem to each member. His poem to Suga read: “Yoongi-ah. You want to be a stone on your next life. Don’t worry, it’s not a big deal. I’ll bring you to a lot of beautiful places. Stone, Stone.” His poem shows that he respects Suga’s wish and cares for him.
Taegi, The Daegu Boys
V and Suga were both born in Daegu, South Korea. Daegu is located in south-eastern Korea, about 80 km (50 mi) from the sea coast. Daegu is the fourth-largest city in South Korea after Seoul, Busan, and Incheon, and the third-largest metropolitan area in the nation with over 2.5 million residents. Suga is very proud of where he comes from and often mentions Daegu in his songs. The Daegu government announced their plans to create a themed street dedicated to V. This homage stems from the government’s plans to remodel V’s former schools. The 100 m street will begin at V’s elementary school and end at his high school. However, Big Hit Entertainment objected to the plan, and the project was canceled. Check out some of videos when V and Suga talking in Daegu dialects below!
