BTS’ Jungkook’s Undergraduate Degree at Global Cyber University
Jungkook as the youngest member of BTS joined last at Global Cyber University in 2020. He finished his high school at Seoul’s School of Performing Arts in 2017 and decided to not take the CSAT, Korea’s nationwide university entrance exam. Global Cyber University is located in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam Province. Since BTS members are getting an education there, this university has become known as BTS’ university. Global Cyber University has a mission to spread and globalize Korean culture and the Hallyu Wave to the world through entertainment and technology. Global Cyber University has been also internationally accredited with a digital education basis and internet integration. This university has already been recognized and received the award Emotional Labour Healing 365 Campaign from Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency.
BTS’ Jungkook Is Majoring in Entertainment and Media
Jungkook is majoring in entertainment and media, also called broadcasting and entertainment. All members of BTS took this major and studied online. Jungkook just enrolled in 2020 while the other members have already graduated from Global Cyber University. This major is quite a match with what his career is right now with BTS. He is supposed to be more serious in theory and practice in media and entertainment.
When Will BTS’ Jungkook Graduate?
Since Jungkook just entered Global Cyber University in 2020, he is assumed to not have graduated yet. Jungkook is the only member of BTS who is still in Global Cyber University to get his undergraduate degree. He is speculated to be graduating around 3-4 years after.
Will BTS’ Jungkook Take an MBA Like the Other BTS Members?
Jungkook who was just in middle school when he debuted with BTS still has time to continue studying while managing his busy schedules. As the maknae of the group, he may follow his senior members’ footsteps. J-Hope, Suga, RM, and Jin began their master’s degrees (MBA) at Hanyang Cyber University, majoring in advertising and media in 2020. Jungkook is still studying for his undergraduate in 2020, and we will see later whether he will go for an MBA or not in the future. Some people assumed that fellow members of BTS took their master’s degree to postpone their duty to go into military service.
