Former Boyfriend Members, Young-Min, Kwang-Min, and Min-woo
Briefly, let’s talk about Young-min, Kwang-min, and Min-woo’s previous career before they put together the BoyLand YouTube channel! They got a lot of attention after their debut with the boy group Boyfriend in 2011. Boyfriend was formed under Starship Entertainment and released a debut single with the name Boyfriend. Young-min and Kwang-min also became really popular because they were twins! Young-min was the oldest, as he was born six minutes before Kwang-min. Besides that, both of them have been involved in the entertainment industry since they were children, and have appeared in a lot of CFs (Commercial Film), as well. Previously, Young-min and Kwang-min signed on with JYP Entertainment and became trainees for almost two years before moving on to Starship Entertainment. The third member of the group, Min-woo, was the the maknae as well as the face of the group. No wonder, since Min-woo obviously has that ‘visual’ vibe, right? Min-woo was also known for his amazing rap skills, which made him the lead rapper in the group. Min-woo also used to do some acting before he became a member of Boyfriend. ‘BoyLand’ a Channel by the Boyfriend Maknae-Line Members
Basically, the news about the BoyLand YouTube channel first surfaced in June 2019, when it was said that Kwang-min, Young-min, and Min-woo were planning to open up their own YouTube channel. Besides that, the three of them were famously known as the maknae line members since they were the youngest among all of Boyfriend members. Finally, the first video was uploaded through their channel in June 2019. Their first video, with the title ‘Hello, it’s me!‘, acted as a type of introduction to the three men. They talked about their previous history as Boyfriend members who formed under Starship Entertainment, and also about the time when their contract with their agency was expired, prompting the announcement of the group’s disbandment in May 2019. Each of the Boyfriend members went down to their own paths, including Young-min, Kwang-min, and Min-woo. They also gave some of interesting facts about themselves, allowing viewers to get to know more about them! They ended up starting their YouTube channel to give their fans a chance to keep in touch with them, as well as it also gave them a way to show another side of themselves in a whole new context. What sort of content does BoyLand offer? It mostly consists of content such as Q&As, daily vlogs, challenge content, and similar things. In this video, the three of them introduced themselves and explained the reasons behind their decision to create the channel, with a Q&A video concept. Additionally, the fans could also reminisce with stories about the idol group, which also really touching! At the end of Q&A sessions, they celebrated the channel’s birthday together!
Kwang-Min, Young-min, and Min-woo Went to Jeong-min’s Solo Concert
In one of their daily vlogs, called #BOYLOG, the three of BoyLand members went to Jeong-min’s solo concert! For your information, Jeong-min is another of the former Boyfriend members. In this video, we could see that a lot of Boyfriend’s fans had gathered together and were welcoming Young-min, Kwang-min, and Min-woo’s arrival at Jeong-min’s concert! And then, for a more interesting part, the three of them also kind of did short interviews with Jeong-min at his concert! They talked about Jeong-min’s solo album, the meaning of Jeong-min’s single Twenty One, Me And You, and more! The four of them also went to Jeong-min’s performance stage together. Right after the performance ended, the three of them also congratulated Jeong-min’s performance happily!
Kwang-Min, Young-min, and Minwoo’s Mukbang in Apgujeong Rodeo
Another video showed a time when Kwang-min, Young-min, and Min-woo went to the Apgujeong Rodeo together. They explained that they went to Apgujeong Rodeo often as a way to meet up, and afterward they would go to a restaurant which has been their favorite for a long time. It was a kind of ‘mukbang’ video, since they went to their favorite restaurant and ordered a lot of food. They showed viewers what kind of food they ordered, and met the owner of the restaurant, as well! Young-min, Kwang-min, and Min-woo were caught on camera while they were eating happily. The funny part was when each of them were about to eat certain foods, and were reassured that they weren’t really spicy. Their reactions after sampling the food told a different story!
Kwang-min, Young-min and Min-woo Reacted to Old Boyfriend Reactions Videos
This video might be the most anticipated content from them, since it was a kind of reminiscing about the good old days as Boyfriend members! Young-min, Kwang-min, and Min-woo got together to watch old videos of Boyfriend, then they gave their own reactions to the old videos, as well. Specifically, they were watched Boyfriend’s debut music video,titled Boyfriend. At first, they were watching the video and complimenting each other’s appearance since then and now. A little later, they burst into laughter since they started to watch scenes that one or more of them though were weird, such as in certain scene of the Boyfriend music video, they started to think that it looked like they were in an air fryer or being steamed! We could see that Young-min frequently laughed out loud!
Kwang-Min and Min-woo Tried Psychological Tests
In this video, only Kwang-min and Min-woo appeared, and, this time, they were about to take a psychological test together! Through the test, both of them read a bunch of questions and they had to answer them truthfully. While they were answering the questions, they engaged in a lot of discussion regarding the questions. In the middle of the video, Min-woo called Jeong-min with his cell phone, which made the fans really excited! Lter, Kwang-min and Min-woo were asked to draw something on paper. With a little confusion and hesitation, both of them drew something and showed the results, as well: Kwang-min drew a landscape with views of a mountain and a building, and Min-woo drew a mountain and a house!
