In this drama, Ji Chang-wook was cast as Ta Hwan/King Yuan, in the area named Yuan, meanwhile, Ha Ji-won was cast as Ki Seung-nyang, an archery expert. Ki Seung-nyang used to be a slave, along with her mother when she was a child, and eventually, she got her freedom, even though her mother was killed. When she got older, she became an archery expert, it also leads her into the encounter with Ta Hwan/King Yuan. She had to protect Ta Hwan at the time because, if he got killed, he wouldn’t be able to save the Yuan region.
