BUZZ’s Woohyun is the husband of Rumble Fish’s Choi Jin-i. They dated for 7 years since 2010, and in 2012, they started dating publicly since the fact that they were dating was revealed to the public. During their dating period, they not only co-composed Rumble Fish’s songs together but also showed off their affection by cheering each other on when they appeared together in Immortal Masterpieces. After 7 years of dating, they got married on March 26, 2017, at a Hanok café in Seoul. With this, he became the third married man after Shin Jun-ki and Kim Ye-jun among the Buzz members. In November 2016, drummer Kim Ye-jun became married four months after Woohyun’s wedding.

Among the Buzz members, he was the first to enlist in the military, and he is the only Buzz member who is not from a military band. He was a signal officer in the artillery battalion under the 5th Artillery Brigade. During his military life, he composed a battalion troupe for the unit. The lyrics were sung by the battalion commander at the time, and Min Kyung-hoon sang this song. Even during the temporary disbandment of Buzz for 8 years after Buzz’s 3rd album, he was the only member of Buzz to remain with his former agency. Later, at a fan meeting, he confessed that if he didn’t return to Buzz during this time, a new person might change his position in the group. So to protect Buzz, he did the 2nd promotion under the name of Buzz. Hearing his actions to protect Buzz, fans were happy because of it.
