Yeojin is in charge of vocalist and rapper of LOONA. She also the maknae of the group. Representative color: Orange Representative animal: a frog Her trainee period is about four months. However, she auditioned for the same company as Haseul and Choerry. She joined the company a week earlier than Haseul. Yeojin has not belonged to any other unit yet. It seems that she could not participate in unit activities because she was young at the time which can’t perform on the show after 10 PM. Yeojin sang Girls’ Generation’s Into The New World and danced to Nine Muses’s Dolls in the audition. She attended Seoul Performing Arts High School (SOPA) and was in the same class as Lucy of Weki Meki. She once bleached her hair blonde for her activities and became a member of Gowon’s unique bleached hair. She kind of a clumsy person. She is said to have lost things easily, especially her transportation card, twice a day. She once was raising a snail named Marimo, a gift from a friend on middle school graduation. About a year later, when asked about how the snail was doing, she replied that it had crossed the bridge. Her role models are her mom, dad, and boy-group SHINHWA. She wanted to be with the members for a long time. She often plays pranks on Choerry. She also chose her as a member who wanted to sing a duet. She doesn’t like beans. Her favorite subject is art. The show she wants to appear on is an exciting entertainment show.
Loona’s YeoJin Pre-debut Story
Before her debut, Yeojin has been learned dance and singing since middle school. She was a student at Five Music & Dance Academy located in Daegu. Even after her debut, she visited the academy every time she went to Daegu. She had performing dance covers of I.O.I’s Pick Me and Jessie J’s Bang Bang. Yeojin became a trainee at Blockberry Creative for about 4 months. She auditioned for the company the same as Haseul and Choerry and sang Girls’ Generation’s Into The New World, and danced to Nine Muses’s Dolls in the audition. She also made a cameo in the music video for ViVi’s “Everyday I Love You” and Heejin, Hyunjin, and Haseul, and Choerry’s “Love Cherry Motion” along with Haseul, Kim Lip, and Jinsoul. Loona’s Yeojin’s Solo Debut
Before her debut, Yeojin released her solo album called “YeoJin” on January 16, 2017, and then made her debut as a LOONA member. Album “YeoJin” is the fourth part of the “Girl of the Month” project contains 3 total tracks. She was revealed as the fourth member of LOONA on January 4, 2017. Yeojin is the only member to feature a song that does not appear on her debut single and is the only member whose pre-debut single album features more than two tracks. Loona’s Yeojin Debut with Loona
Yeojin became an official member of LOONA on August 19, 2018. Yeojin teaser was released on August 9. Yeojin is the maknae (youngest) of the group. LOONA is a girl group contains twelve members. She debuted along with Haseul, Vivi, Yves, JinSoul, Kim Lip, Chuu, Heejin, Hyunjin, Gowon, Choerry, Olivia Hye, and Yeojin. The group debuted with the release of extended plays. Yeojin has a unique kind of husky voice tone. She got rap parts as well as vocal parts because of her tone. Fans are also recognized her as a rapper along with Gowon. Yeojin also memorizes the dance well and has good reflexes. As the youngest member, she acts cute to her members, but she is also quite serious about what she does.
