HONEYST’s Chulmin’s Career Journey
Kim Chulmin first debuted with the four-member group in May 2016 known as NEOZ Band on the survival show called d.o.b which means dance or band. They were competing with other trainees in Neoz Dance to get the opportunity to debut. Eventually, NEOZ Band lost to NEOZ Dance in the public voting which made it fail to debut as SF9 in May 2017. Later on, Chulmin and other members were announced to be debuting as HONEYST under FNC Entertainment. Chulmin became the main vocalist, keyboardist, and guitarist. Chulmin with HONEYST released the single “Like You” on May 17, 2017, which reached rank 22 on the Gaon Album Chart. Later, on November 22, they released their second single album called Someone To Love. Yet, on April 26, 2019, after two years of activity, FNC announced that HONEYST disbanded because of different visions.
