HONEYST’s Seungseok’s Drama Appearances
In HONEYST, Seungseok wasn’t only known as the charismatic drummer, but he was also the first member who made an acting debut. Even though he had revealed in the past that acting was challenging, hard, and tough for him, he could still enjoy it and feel respectful towards other actors who have decided to pursue this path in their careers. In 2018, Seungseok took a role in a web drama from Dingo K-Drama Real Life Love Story: Season 3 and became one of the main characters. He starred alongside Ryeoun, Kim Nu-ri, Jo Yi-hun, and Kim Hyun-mok. The drama has 7 episodes with different plots, but it was mainly a narrated romance and love story based on a real experience story from a bunch of letters that the production had received. In several episodes, Seungseok was playing different roles. In Episode 2 he played the role of Park Geon-woo, a perfect boyfriend who has a ‘bad’ fashion taste; in another episode, he took on the role of a boyfriend who seemed careless after three years of a relationship, and other roles as well. Aside from that, Seungseok also made an acting appearance in several episodes of the web drama titled Thursday 3, which is still a part of Dingo K-Drama and aired on the same date in 2018. The drama was quite similar to Real Life Love Story: Season 3, since it was a web drama. But the plot didn’t come up from a real-life experience. One of his roles was a guy who was secretly dating his co-workers in the office, despite the truth that his mother didn’t allow him to have an office romance. It has been a while since HONEYST officially disbanded in 2019. The members each decided to take their own paths, and this also applies to Seungseok. It seems like Seungseok decided to continue his career in the entertainment industry, however, there are no recent news and updates about his upcoming projects or any details regarding his career. He is still under FNC Entertainment, which can be concluded by the fact that the agency celebrated his birthday in June 2020 through FNC’s official Instagram account, @fishandcake. Through that post, the fans also expressed their longing and looking forward to Seungseok’s future activity as a K-Pop idol.
