Jaggesh was born on 17 March 1963 to Shivalingappa and Nanjamma in Srirampura, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He has two elder sisters and two younger brothers including actor Komal. Jaggesh married Parimala, with whom he has sons Gururaj and Yathiraj. Parimala’s brother Sunder Ramu is also an actor.
