Hide and Seek: Introduction and Synopsis
Hide and Seek was one of the famous K-Dramas, which was released in August 2018 and aired on the MBC network. It has 48 episodes with romance and melodrama as its genre. Hide and Seek is also featuring a lot of actors and actresses which made the viewers really dazzled with their acting appearance as well! The plot was a narration about Min Chae-rin, a foster child who was adopted when she was still young. She was adopted by the Min family who managed a cosmetic brand as their business and were very rich. Min Chae-rin has a sibling named Min Soo-a, the daughter of the Min family. Both of them were really close until one day Min Soo-a lost while they were playing hide and seek. Actually, she was kidnapped by someone. Their mother got really stressed due to that case and their grandmother also blamed it on Min Chae-rin. It also made the whole situation change. Min Chae-rin has to strive to defend herself and be ‘recognized’ by her family. Several years later, Min Chae-rin becomes the executive director of her family’s business. But, she is forced to married Moon Jae-sang, a guy who works in Taesan Group and is known as a playboy. Meanwhile, Soo-a also lives her life. She has been living in a small family and changed her name to Ha Yeon-joo who has a nice personality. She used to plan a marriage with Cha Eun-hyuk, a personal driver of Moon Jae-sang but it failed after Eun-hyuk was caught together with Chae-rin. Eventually, the real identity of Ha Yeon-joo is revealed. She goes back to being Min Soo-a from the Min family, and Min Chae-rin is kicked out from the family. Meanwhile, Ha Yeon-joo with her real identity as Min Soo-a has decided to go to another country to pursue her studies in cosmetics, and her relationship with Chae-rin became even better. Min Chae-rin and Cha Eun-hyuk were separated for a while after he was involved in an accident. Later on, the two of them are reunited, and the feelings between them also remain the same. The final scene of Hide and Seek shows the reunion of Min Chae-rin and Cha Eun-hyuk while they are kissing.

Even though she was adopted, her family didn’t treat her with kindness because they thought Min Chae-rin was the cause of Min Soo-a’s disappearance. After she was mature enough, she was forced to married Moon Jae-sang. Min Chae-rin also wanted to prove her existence towards her family which made her ambition filled with a desire for revenge. Song Chang-eui as Cha Eun-hyuk Cha Eun-hyuk was the driver of Moon Jae-sang, the husband of Min Chae-rin. He used to have a relationship with Ha Yeon-joo, but he fell for Min Chae-rin eventually. Cha Eun-hyuk might be looking as a quiet and cold person, but his personality changed only when Min Chae-rin would be around. Uhm Hyun-kyung as Ha Yeon-joo/Min Soo-a Min Soo-a was the real daughter of the Min family who got kidnapped when she was still young. Later on, she lived as Ha Yeon-joo with her small family. She used to be a nice person until her boyfriend Cha Eun-hyuk fell in love with Min Chae-rin. She felt betrayed, and it also made her personality change. Kim Young-min as Moon Jae-sang Moon Jae-sang was known as an arrogant guy, he used to be married twice before marrying Min Chae-rin. He is the heir of the Taesan Group as well. Moon Jae-sang also cooperated with Min Soo-a to steal Min Chae-rin’s wealth as well as bring her down.
