Flower Boy Next Door or My Cute Guys is a romantic comedy series that aired on tvN from January to February 2013. Fresh from starring the super-popular TV series King of Baking Kim Takgu, Yoon Shi-yoon collaborated with prolific actress Park Shin-hye in the webtoon based drama. The drama told a story about a game designer, performed by Yoon Shi-yoon that caught an aloof freelance copywriter, Park Shin-hye stalking on her crush. The plot of the drama was based on the funny interaction between Park Shin-hye and Yoon Shi-yoon. Park Shin-hye performed as Go Dok-mi, a shy copywriter that is in love with a handsome neighbor. Yoon Shi-yoon character is Enrique Geum, a brilliant game designer and the cousin of Park Shin-hye’s crush. When staying at his cousin’s house, he spotted Go Dok-mi spying on his cousin. He tried to find out the reason behind her unusual actions. In the third episode, there was a special moment between Go Dok-mi and Enrique Geum. After getting to know each other and realizing that both have an unrequited love for another person, they decide to travel together. By pure accident, Enrique Geum kisses Go Dok-mi on her lips. The accidental kiss made viewers wonder whether their relationship will develop into a romantic one. After the first accidental kiss, Go Dok-mi and Enrique Geum became closer as friends. However, later on, the geek copywriter starts feeling something different whenever he is around. Slowly but surely, she starts falling in love with the handsome Enrique Geum.
