Kramer Austin Hickok was born on April 14, 1992. He attended the University of Texas and was a freshman the same year as Jordan Spieth. He roomed with Spieth during the university’s national championship season in 2011–12 and later caddied for him at the 2011 AT&T Byron Nelson. He played four years for the Longhorns, earning a degree in Geography in 2015. A graduate of the University of Texas, Kramer Hickok was a fixture on UT teams that featured Jordan Spieth, Beau Hossler and Cody Gribble. Hickok was named to the PING All-Central Region and All-Big 12 teams during his junior year where he notched four Top-10 finishes in only nine events. Hickok’s senior season saw him appear in 10 events, highlighted by a final round 66 in the Big 12 Championship. His best finish of the 2015 season came at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters where he placed 5th. Before attending the University of Texas, Hickok was member of the victorious West Team at the 2010 AJGA Cannon Cup. Although he turned professional in 2015, Hickok enjoyed his breakout year on the Mackenzie Tour in 2017. He captured individual titles at the Ontario Championship and the Players Cup, placing him atop the season-long money list, earning him full Web.com Tour status for 2018. After the regular season, Hickok represented the MacKenzie Tour at the Aruba Cup, where they claimed victory over the PGA Tour Latinoamérica team by the narrowest of margins, 10.5 – 9.5. Hickok had 6 Top-10 finishes in his first year on the Web.com Tour. Hickok picked up steam in July finishing T2 at the Lincoln Land Championship and a solo 3rd place at the Pinnacle Bank Championship. He got the win at the DAP Championship in September, just 3 events before the end of the season. These successes helped Hickok solidify his #2 spot in the Top 25 on the money list to earn his PGA Tour card for the 2018/2019 season. Hickok enjoyed playing his rookie year on the PGA Tour and carded a Top-10 finish at the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship. He finished the KornFerry playoffs with two Top-5 finishes to secure his PGA Tour card for another season.
