Lotus Flower Fairy, or also known as Heaven’s Fate, is a 2004 South Korean television series starring Lee Da-hae, Kim Sung-min, Lee Joo-hyun, and Park Tam-hee. It aired on MBC from June 7th, 2004 to February 11th, 2005, on Mondays to Fridays at 20:20 KST for a total of 174 episodes. Lee Da-hae acted as Yoon Cho-won. She comes from a not so well-off but lovely family, meek and amiable. She is also a beautiful woman and a talented graduate student. She is engaged to Pan Jung-soo (Lee Joo-hyun) after a short period of dating. The series is about Yoon Cho-won who is approached by a shamanic spirit. Because of that, she loses her appetite and gets increasingly exhausted. Cho-won’s family learns that her aggravating symptoms are due to the presence of the shamanic spirit, and they are frightened. Her grandfather decides to oust her from the family because he doesn’t want his family image tarnished. Moreover, Jung-soo’s family notify their decision to call off the engagement. Cho-won is on the verge of giving up her life as she has lost everything overnight. Green Rose is a 2005 South Korean television series starring Go Soo, Lee Da-hae, Lee Jong-hyuk, and Kim Seo-hyung. It aired on SBS from March 19th to May 29th, 2005, on Saturdays and Sundays at 21:45 KST for 22 episodes. Lee Da-hae acted as Oh Soo-ah. She is a lovely and bright woman. She is the only daughter of SR Electronics’ chairman. She takes care of her father who is in a vegetative state and runs the company. She used to date Lee Jung-hyun (Go Soo) who comes from a not well-off family. Lee Jung-hyun and Oh Soo-ah are living a normal life as a couple. Jung-hyun then learns who Soo-ah’s father is and tries to end their relationship, but Soo-ah convinces him to give their relationship another chance. However, Jung-hyun is then framed and falsely accused of attempting to kill Soo-ah’s father. He flees to Shanghai, China where he struggles to survive. He meets a Korean man who becomes his good friend. They save a Chinese business tycoon from an assassination attempt. Under his guidance, Jung-hyun develops business skills and becomes a chairman of Super Digital Enterprise, a large Chinese company. He returns to South Korea with an alias and meets Soo-ah again in a meeting.
My Girl
My Girl is a 2005 South Korean television series starring Lee Da-hae, Lee Dong-wook, Lee Joon-gi, and Park Si-yeon. The series aired on SBS from December 14th, 2005 to February 2nd, 2006, on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 KST for 16 episodes. Lee Da-hae acts as Joo Yoo-rim, a tour guide of mini-tours in Jeju Island. Her father is addicted to gambling. She is determined to support herself and clear up her father’s debts. She and her father used to move from country to country to avoid their debtors. Because of that, she is able to converse fluently in Chinese and Japanese. Joo Yoo-rim works hard to support herself and pay her father’s debts by being a tour guide in Jeju Island. One day, she meets Seol Gong-chan (Lee Dong-wook), the sole heir to the L’Avenuel Hotel. He hires Yoo-rim to act as his grandfather’s long-lost granddaughter. The grandfather is happy to find his granddaughter and makes a complete recovery. Yoo-rim and Gong-chan are forced to live together under the same roof and start to take an interest in each other. However, love is forbidden for them as they act as cousins.
