Woo Do-hwan in “Save Me”

School dropout, Suk Dong-chul (Woo Do-hwan), together with Han Sang-hwan (Ok Taec-yeon), Choi Man-hee (Ha Hwa-jung), and Woo Jung-hoon (Lee David), were on a journey to help a woman who is involved in a religious cult. They’re trying to help Sang-mi (Seo Ye-ji), who was trapped because her father became dedicated to a religious cult and its leader. Sang-Mi’s family is literally messed up after her brother, Im Sang-jin (Jang Yoo-sang), became the victim of bullying in high school and took his own life, and her mother fell sick because of her brother’s death. As Sang-mi’s best friend, Suk Dong-chul and the other three friends helped Sang-mi without knowing that behind all of it, there is a big secret that hasn’t been revealed yet. Save Me (구해줘) is a South Korean mystery-thriller series. The cast for this drama series includs Woo Do-hwan, Ok Taec-yeon, Seo Ye-ji, and Jo Sung-ha. This drama series is based on the popular Daum webcomic Out of the World (세상 밖으로) by Jo Geum-san. With a total of 16 episodes, the drama aired from  August 5 to September 24, 2017, on OCN. Woo Do-hwan in “Mad Dog”

Mad Dog (매드독) is a South Korean drama series that was produced by KBS Drama Production. It was originally broadcast from October 11 to November 30, 2017, airing on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 22:00 KST on KBS2TV. With a total of 16 episodes, the drama’s stars were Woo Do-hwan, Yoo Ji-tae, and Ryu Hwa-young. Mad Dog tells a story about a former police/detective named Choi Kang-woo (Yoo Ji-tae), who became a senior insurance fraud investigator after an airplane crash took the life of his wife and son. He leads a team who are trying to uncover fraud cases that have swallowed huge amounts of money. Choi Kang-woo then meets Kim Min-joon (Woo Do-hwan), and they cooperate to uncover the cases. Kim Min-joon is a genius ex-swindler whose brother was also a victim of the airplane crash. This series was very popular when it broadcast in 2017. It hit 9.6% ratings on Viki. Woo Do-hwan in “Tempted”

Woo Do-hwan’s first shot as the main character in a drama was in the series Tempted. Tempted (위대한 유혹자) is a South Korean drama series produced by Bon Factory Worldwide. The drama is about conflicts of friendship and the problems of parents that are quite complicated. This kind of romantic melodrama portrays the lives of men and women who commence to uncover their true feelings while also playing a dangerous game of love. Woo Do-hwan played the role of Kwon Shi-hyun, who made a bet to his two best friends Choi Soo-ji (Moon Ga-young), and Lee Se-jo (Kim Min-jae) to seduce Eun Tae-hee (Park Soo-young). There are many obstacles in this drama, such as friendship and family. Tempted was adapted from the classic 18th century French novel, Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos. The series was formerly known as Love Game: The Great Seduction. The cast of the drama are Woo Do-hwan, Park Soo-young, Kim Min-jae, and Moon Ga-young. The drama series was originally broadcast from March 12–May 1, 2018, on MBC on Mondays and Tuesdays at 22:00 KST.
