Loona 1/3
Let’s go to the first unit, named Loona 1/3. This subunit was formed through a pre-debut project group namely Girl of the Month. The unit consists of 4 members, namely HeeJin, HaSeul, ViVi, and HyunJin. This unit debuted with a soft concept showing their innocent and sweet looks. On March 12th, 2017, Loona 1/3 made their stage debut on SBS’s Inkigayo and the next day they released the official music video of their single “Love&Live”. Here’s the music video with over 3 million views!
On April 27th, 2017, this unit did a reissue of their single album Love & Live titled Love & Evil adding two new tracks, one of which is “Sonatine”.
Members and Positions
Haseul: Leader & Main Vocalist
Loona’s member who was born in Ansan, Gyeonggi, is the leader and main vocalist in this subunit. Haseul was the 3rd member that was revealed and she also debuted with a pre-debut single album named HaSeul with the title track “Let Me In”.
Heejin: Visual, Lead Vocalist, Main Dancer
Heejin was the first member that released the pre-debut single album on October 5th, 2016, the album was named HeeJin with the title track “ViViD”. Heejin was revealed as the first member of this unit on September 26th, 2016. Not only as a visual, but Heejin also got the position as a center of the group.
ViVi: Sub-vocalist & Lead Dancer
Even though Vivi was the last member that was revealed as a Loona member on April 5th, 2017, her pre-debut single album was quite successful. Her album named ViVi has a title track “Everyday I Love You” featuring the leader, HaSeul.
Hyunjin: Lead Vocalist, Lead Dancer, Maknae
Hyunjin is the youngest member in Loona and this subunit. She was revealed on October 28th, 2016, and her pre-debut solo album with the title track “Around You” was released a month after.

Loona Odd Eye Circle
This unit consists of three members namely Kim Lip, JinSoul, and Choerry. Same as the previous unit, Loona Odd Eye Circle was also made from the pre-debut project Girl of the Month and debuted on September 21st, 2017, along with the release of their MV. Here’s the video!
Different from Loona 1/3, this group concept was using the girl crush concept and expressed their playful, tempting, and romantic side. They debuted by releasing the first extended play Mix & Match with the title track “Girl Front”. Like other groups, this Loona subunit also made their first appearance on Mnet’s M! Countdown.

Kim Lip: Leader, Main Dancer, Main Vocalist
Besides being the leader, Kim Lip is also the main dancer and main vocal. On May 11th, 2017, Kim Lip was the first member to be revealed. Then 12 days later, more precisely on May 23rd, 2017, she released her solo single Kim Lip with the title track “Eclipse”.
JinSoul: Lead Vocalist, Main Rapper, Visual
JinSoul was the 2nd member to be revealed of this unit on June 13th, 2017. Then on June 26th, 2017, she officially released her single JinSoul with the title track named “Singing in the Rain”.
Choerry: Maknae, Lead Dancer, Sub-vocalist, Lead Rapper
This maknae of the unit is full of million talents, especially in dancing. As proof, she was chosen to be the center of Loona Odd Eye Circle. She was the last member to be revealed and debuted with her single album released on July 28th, 2017, named Choerry and the title track “Love Cherry Moon”.

Singles Reissues & Extended Plays
Loona YYXY
The last unit is Loona yyxy and consists of 4 members, namely Yves, Chuu, Go Won, and Olivia Hye. This unit was formed and debuted on May 30th, 2018, with their first Extended Play (EP) named Beauty & the Beat featuring a Canadian musician, Grimes with the title track “love4eva.” Here’s the music video!
On May 19th, 2018, this unit released their teaser photo for the single “lov4eva”. Meanwhile, on May 24th, they revealed the concept photo of the group. This unit also made their debut stage on Mnet’s M! Countdown on June 7th, 2018.
Members and Positions
Yves: Leader, Main Dancer, Lead Vocalist, Visual
This leader was revealed on November 14th, 2017, as part of this group. On November 28th, 2017, she debuted by releasing her single album named Yves with the title track “New”.
Chuu: Main Vocalist
Different from Yves, Chuu was the 2nd member who was introduced as part of this unit. She was revealed on December 14th, 2017, and she released her first pre-debut solo Chuu with the title track “Heart Attack” on December 27th, 2017.
Go Won: Lead Dancer, Main Rapper, Vocalist, Visual
After Chuu, Go Won was revealed on January 14th, 2018, then two weeks later, or precisely on January 30th, she released her solo single Go Won with the title track “One&Only”. Not only she is the lead dancer and main rapper, but Go Won is also the center of the unit.
Olivia Hye: Lead Rapper, Lead Dancer, Maknae, Sub-vocalist
The last member is Olivia Hye. She was revealed on March 17th, 2018, with her photo teaser. This maknae of the unit also released her first single with two tracks on March 29th, 2018, titled “Egoist” featuring JinSoul and “Rosy.”
