Hyobin was born in Gyeonggi province, South Korea. He had studied at Howon University. He is the vocalist of his group, 2000 Won. Before becoming members of 2000 Won, Hyobin and Ildo were friends. Hyobin has his own solo single, and the single is titled “Go Away My Love.” His single was released on October 15th, 2009. He also released the two OSTs for the television dramas The Secret Agent and Phantom.

Kim Il-do was a participant of K-Pop Star 2 along with Kim Hyo-bin. He was born in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. Kim Il-do lives in Miami and Atlanta, USA. He and his partner in 2000 Won named Kim Hyo-bin have been close since they became trainees in K-Pop Star 2. In the group, Ildo got the position as vocalist, maknae (the youngest member), and rapper.
Official Debut
Before they announced their official debut as a K-Pop duo, the two members had been trainees of the reality competition show program titled K-Pop Star 2, which took place on November 8th, 2012, and ended on April 6th, 2013. K-Pop Star 2 was aired on the SBS Television channel that is conducted by opening the worldwide auditions for people who have the potential to be idols, and if they win they get the opportunity to become models, actors, etc. Kim Hyo-bin and Kim Il-do formed their duo from the beginning of the competition, under the same name, 2000 Won. But unfortunately, they had to be eliminated in fourth place and leave the show. After being eliminated, then they made their debut under Reve Entertainment on March 14th, 2014 with the release of their first single titled “Beautiful.” In their digital single, Ailee is featured with them. 2000 Won also performed their first single in a showcase at KT Olleh Square in Seoul, and they sang live on a mini-stage. Ssul and Ear Phone
After two years, or more precisely after 2000 Won released their 4th single titled “Ssul,” the group finally released their 5th single on February 11th, 2020. Their 5th single is titled “Ear Phone” which was released along with the official music video that was upload by GENIE MUSIC YouTube Channel. But unfortunately, until now the music video has only received four thousand views, and it looks like you should watch it by clicking play on the video below!
This group seems to rarely give information about their schedules, and also their activities as a group aren’t as much as a few years ago. However, the duo also has a subunit that consists of one member, so basically, it is a solo project. Their first subunit was announced in 2018 by debuting Kim Hyo-bin with the release of his first solo single titled “Last Night (어젯밤)”. It was his first digital single and debuted as a solo singer under the group’s subunit, and the single consists of two same songs but the one is just the instrumental version of the song. In the same year as their 5th single, Kim Hyo-bin also filled the OST for the drama Phantom the Secret Angel. He sang two songs for that drama, which were released on June 2nd and June 25th, respectively, titled “Find Her (그녀를 찾아 주세요)” and “Me, Too (잘살고 있다고 생각은 마).” Until now, their last activity was the release of the 5th single, and Hyobin’s participation in the drama’s OST.
