NCT Dream’s Debut Story

SM Entertainment debuted NCT Dream as a sub-unit of NCT with their lead single “Chewing Gum” on August 25, 2016. The debut process began with a teaser photo of Jeno and Haechan, then Jisung and Chenle the next day, next Mark and Renjun, and finally Jaemin.

“Chewing Gum” was also released in a bilingual version in Korean and Chinese. NCT Dream kept appearing on the encore stage several times for their fellow labelmates Red Velvet and EXO. Their song became more known and entered the 2016 KBS Song Festival.
