The K-Pop idol group as well as the 2-member subunit of Super Junior, which is Super Junior-D&E, is back on their comeback after more than a year by releasing a mini-album titled Bad Blood which was launched in September 2020. The mini-album released by Donghae and Eunhyuk contains 5 songs with their comeback title song, “B.A.D”. Meanwhile, 4 other songs, such as “Contact”, “To you, Tomorrow”, “Change”, and “Off Line” are included in the album. Super Junior-D&E’s Eunhyuk mentioned that “B.A.D” has an electronic hip-hop genre which he said in an interview with South Korean media when they were about to release the song and an instrument that was quite addicting to listen to could be heard. Bad Blood was released on September 3rd, 2020, and it marked the time of more than a year after Super Junior-D&E’s last album titled Danger was released, in April 2019. “B.A.D” was written and composed by Donghae and J-DUB. The lyrics describe beautiful women as something ‘bad’ for the duo. The song is a mix of electronic and hip-hop genres. One of its members, Donghae, is known to have participated in the production of 3 other songs in this album and “Contact” which was made by Lalala Studio. Beside that, Eunhyuk, Joni, and ZigZag Note also participated in writing the lyrics for the song “To You, Tomorrow” adding to the perfection of the songs. Fans can also see Super Junior-D&E’s musicality more deeply through the other songs in the mini-album Bad Blood. For example, in the singles “Contact” and “To You, Tomorrow” with the rock ballad genre, “Change” which is in the heavy and rhythmical hip-hop genre Lo-Fi, and “Off Line” with groovy rhythm and catchy melody that can be addicting.

These five songs have a different impression from each other. Each song displays a different genre and charm from Donghae and Eunhyuk. Starting from songs that are funky, R&B, dance to ballads are included in the duo’s latest album. No wonder fans are looking forward to their album release. Their song has topped various music charts, proving that the popularity of Super Junior and their subunit has not waned. Donghae and Eunhyuk received many positive responses for their new song. Super Junior-D&E also took over the No.1 spot on some of the biggest music charts, showing their amazing influence. Super Junior-D&E’s mini-album Bad Blood was also successful at being top of the weekly charts. Bad Blood topped the weekly physical album charts on the Hanteo Chart and Synnara Record for the period August 31st to September 6th, 2020. This special version of the mini-album Bad Blood includes two new tracks, one of which is the title track, “No Love”. Along with the release of the album, the music video for the song was also released on the same day. The “No Love” music video shows the charms of Donghae and Eunhyuk as young gentlemen and adults. Not only presenting a catchy melody, but this song also combines the vocals of the two members so nicely.

“No Love” is a song composed by Jonatan Gusmark, Ludvig Evers, Maxx Song, and Bobii Lewis, and the lyrics are written by Rick Bridges. This is an electronic dance song about honestly expressing interest in someone.
