Together with the release of “Turtle” by Twice on October 30th, 2017, Twice also released their first full-length album titled Twicetagram which has the same name as their official Instagram account. “Turtle” itself was included in the album as the second track together with the other 12 songs including the lead single, “Likey”. JYP Entertainment released the highlight medley of the album which included “Turtle” as the second track on October 29th, 2017, a day before the full album and tracks were released. The full song “Turtle” was released the next day, on October 30th, as a digital download, and the physical album was released one day later.
