Hweseung Appearance In Mnet’s Produce 101 Season 2
Hweseung has made a decisive step in his career in order to chase after his dream of becoming a K-pop idol. In 2017, he auditioned for the survival show Produce 101 Season 2 and successfully became one of the contestants. While he was in the show, Hweseung was famously known as the most cheerful and cutest person. Other than that, Hweseung amazed people with his voice as well. During the ranking performance, Hweseung made a cover performance of the song “Replay” originally performed by SHINee. He appeared with cute and adorable vibes which reminded us of a teenage schoolboy. Even though his dance performance was quite simple, he managed to mix it well with the way he sang “Replay”.
There’s also a compilation video of Hweseung’s cover song performances while he was in Produce 101 Season 2. Through the various songs, Hweseung’s vocal characteristics also felt different yet harmonized at the same time. Moreover, the way he reached the high notes was mesmerizing as well!
After quite a long journey, Hweseung was unfortunately eliminated in Episode 8 of Produce 101 Season 2. He was eliminated in the final rank #39. But still, he has made everyone proud of him, especially the fans.
Hweseung’s Debut With N.Flying
Hweseung made his debut as an N.Flying member on August 2nd, 2017, through the second EP titled THE REAL: N.Flying. It marked “The Real” as its lead track as well. Previously, FNC Entertainment has announced that the band would be making lineup changes before their comeback. Later on, it was revealed that the added member came from the Produce 101 Season 2 contestants, namely Yoo Hwe-seung. In the band, Hweseung was put in charge of the main vocalist position. No wonder, since his appearance in Produce 101 Season 2, Hweseung has impressed people with his beautiful voice. After his debut with N.Flying, they have released a bunch of good music such as the third EP The Hottest, the fourth EP How Are You, the fifth EP Spring Memories, and many more. Even their single “Rooftop” became one of the most successful songs and entered the top positions on a lot of Korean music charts. Moreover, “Rooftop” also occupied the top ranks on the single’s Gaon weekly chart for two weeks. This brought N.Flying their first-ever music show win in The Show and then Inkigayo afterward. Hweseung and other N.Flying members also held several huge concerts such as the 2019 Live Up All Night in Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Paris, the solo concert series N.Flying High Project Note 4, N.Flying High Project Note 6, and many more.

Hweseung is still continuing his activities as an N.Flying member. The band has been holding online concerts through NOOB CON in July and August 2020, and they were performing such cool summer night vibes during the concerts for their fans all over the world.
