But still, DEY’s determination to chase after his dream wasn’t stopping there. Eventually, he made it to debut as a Younite member in 2022!

Kim Se-hyun officially debuted as Younite member on April 20, 2022, with the group’s first EP “YOUNI-BIRTH”, with “1 of 9” and “Everybody” serving as the title track. Kim Se-hyun then used the stage name “DEY” and he is in charge of the group’s Main Rapper and Lyricist as well. No wonder, one of DEY’s specialties is writing lyrics! The group’s name Younite stands for ‘YOU and I: we are connected’, and the members decided their official fandom name would be ‘YOUNIZ’, a mixture of the group’s name ‘Younite’ and ‘needs’ which also means that both of Younite and fans need each other. The EP “YOUNI-BIRTH” and “Everybody” single received many positive and warm supports from the public, and it is followed by the release of the “1 of 9” music video shortly after.
